In addition to Strings & Machines team leader Hugh Livingston, the spa team includes chief software engineer Michael Zbyszynski, head sound designer Margaret Schedel (trained in Pauline Oliveros' Deep Listening practice) and music therapy and consciousness expert Clare Hedin.

Clare Hedin has a Masters Degree in Consciousness Studies from JFK University. She has been actively exploring the world of sound, vibration and consciousness for over 25 years. Her focus has been on first, the underlying power within the structure of sound, and its universality, and second, the use of sound and

vibration as a tool for creating healing and connection. An accomplished and explorative musician, singer and songwriter, with an array of CDs, she teaches classes such as 'Transformation Through Sound Awareness and Personal Presence', 'Energy Healing and Chakra Balancing' and 'Sound, Nature and Consciousness'.

She has a long association with the Oakland Children's Hospital, using music and personal presence as a spiritual healing tool and has a further background in various healing arts, including Reiki, Light Body, Creative Visualization and guided meditation, Intuitive
Counseling, Sound, Voice and Art Healing. Her training has been cross-platform and cross- cultural, allowing her to experience the link between the visual realms of Fine Art, and the emotional realms of sound and creativity.
