Garden Demonstration, with Sculptor Bruce Beasley; West Oakland location, Saturday July 29, 2006 Demonstrations of many outdoor sound solutions, including sound built into sculptures and benches, floating sound in a reflecting pool, and traffic noise mitigation. Oakland Heritage Windows, an installation with windows removed from a historic site on San Pablo. Magnetic transducers on the surface of the glass evoke one hundred years of Oakland history, portrayed in sound. |
